Every year Deer Creek Church is involved in the the Lifeline Pregnancy Care Center Baby Bottle Ministry. On Mother’s Day, empty plastic baby bottles are distributed to the churches in the Cuba, MO area with the hope that giving folks will collect their pocket change in the bottles as an offering. Then on Father’s Day the ‘full’ bottles are collected to return to the center.
The Lifeline Pregnancy Center is located in Cuba, MO and is a ministry that reaches out to couples or single moms who are faced with unplanned pregnancies. Often the couples are not married. One of the main goals of the center is to prevent any couple or mom from choosing abortion as an option but instead choosing LIFE. Ultrasounds are provided free to these ones to help them see that the baby in the mommy is a life. Important! Christian teachings are offered at the center along with parental guidance and helps. New parent supplies are provided such as diapers, wipes, baby clothes, car seats, etc. New parent classes are also given. Sherry King is the head of Lifeline Pregnancy Care Center.
